Clinical Information
  • A condition caused by the overproduction of aldosterone. It is characterized by sodium retention and potassium excretion with resultant hypertension and hypokalemia.
  • Abnormality of electrolyte function caused by excessive secretion of aldosterone by the adrenal cortex.
